RC Sheriff Seize 7-lbs Of Marijuana & 31 Vials Of THC Vape Liquid
PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Wednesday, November 1, detectives with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a location on Highway 41-A in Pleasant View after investigating possible illegal drug activity at the location.
Once inside, detectives say they discovered seven pounds of high-grade marijuana as well as thirty-one vials of High Potency THC Vape Liquid. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the street value of the substances is about $30,000.
Robert Daniel Richardson, 23, of Adams TN and Jesse James Perry, 31, of Joelton TN, were both arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of Schedule Vi drugs for resale. They were booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility, both on $8,000 bonds each.
According to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, this marks the first major seizure in Robertson County of THC vape cartridges.
“The legalization of marijuana and THC products, whether medical or recreational, in other states, has made it easier for criminals to obtain these products from dispensaries to sell them illegally here in Tennessee,” said Sheriff Bill Holt. “The THC vials are very disturbing because these can be used in plain sight and are not as easily discovered when used in the vapor cigarettes. I am proud of our team for investigating and getting these items off our streets.”
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
