Repeated Crashes Spark Changes To Kelly Willis Rd In Greenbrier

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Citing public safety, the city of Greenbrier has reduced the speed limit from 40/45 to 35 miles per hour on Kelly Willis Rd.

A quick search in Smokey archives confirmed that Kelly Willis Rd is indeed a magnet for accidents, one that even included a fire-engine.

Officials in Greenbrier released the following notice Thursday.

“This is a Public Notice that the speed on Kelly Willis Rd has been reduced to 35 mph. This is due to the number of crashes that have occurred in that area and to ensure everyone’s safety.”

Greenbrier Officials are also checking into getting guardrails installed in the same area.
