Robertson County Grand Jury Indicts Three In 2005 Death Of Miguel Francisco
A lengthy Tennessee Bureau of Investigation case has led to charges for four people accused in a 2005 kidnapping and homicide case in Greenbrier.
At the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Special Agents began investigating the death of Miguel Francisco on September 7, 2005, accosting to a TBI release obtained by Smokey Barn News. On August 26th, authorities found the body of the 25-year-old on the side of a Robertson County road, handcuffed and with his feet bound with duct tape.
Recent information led investigators to speak with several people in connection to the crime. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that one of the subjects, Alford Colwell, Jr., believed Francisco allegedly stole jewelry from Colwell’s mother. In turn, Agents learned Colwell allegedly gathered several of his friends to confront Francisco, including Christopher Jordan Harrington and Frank Allen Cross. The investigation further revealed the group allegedly beat Francisco, then bound him, and forced him into the trunk of a car. As the car was driving down the road, the victim was able to free himself from the trunk, 
but later died from the injuries received during the beating and from his escape from the moving vehicle.
On July 17, 2014, the Robertson County Grand Jury returned indictments for all three men, charging Cross (42 years old, Madison), Harrington (27 years old, Nashville), and Colwell (27 years old, Nashville), with one count each of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and one count each of Felony Murder. The investigation also produced the same charges for 26-year-old Terrell Hathaway, who was a juvenile at the time of the incident and is currently in custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction for an unrelated offense. At the time of this release, Cross, Harrington, and Colwell were being held in the Robertson County Jail, each on $100,000 bond.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilt in a court of law.

Funny thing is.. the guy chris harrington is my step daughters father he’s a huge pill head but anyways it’s funny to me because they claim they killed him for theft but chris was caught a week before he was arrested for this breaking into his own mothers house stealing cameras and pills and stuff.
To kill someone because of theif, why not give him a chance to repay it all back? I think the court should look beyond giving these guys a second chance, they should recieve the same treatment as this poor man “Death!” you will never hear of new Springfield sentencing someone to death, but the old Springfield were tough and if you didn’t follow what was right and best for the families they would sentence your a** to life in prison without parole, or sentence you on to death row QUICK!.
