Recent publicity regarding the well being of students at East Robertson Elementary School has criticized the school.

Whether at ERES or any other school in Robertson County, the total safety of all students is paramount in the daily activities of principals and teachers. This concern is shared throughout the district level administration in our Central Office as well.

We value the trust of our parents, and will continue to communicate promptly regarding any situation related to the safety or well being of one of our students. In that light, we also ask parents and guardians to make us aware of any school-related concerns that might develop from conversations outside the school setting so that we can maintain an overall awareness and ensure the collective safety of all of our RCS students.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact a teacher, principal, or district administrator anytime a situation warrants attention. Our door is open, and no concern is too small.

Sincerely,

Dan Whitlow
Director of Schools
