See “Elf The Musical” This Friday Or Saturday (SPRINGFIELD)
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Middle School’s EPIC Players will present Elf Jr., the musical, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14-15 in the school auditorium.
Directed and coached by Lisa Owensby, Vanessa Waller, Rusty Riddle and Casandra Goostree, scholars, representing all grades, have been practicing all semester for these three performances during the two-day programming.
Dr. Grant Bell, SMS principal, is justifiably proud of the accomplishments of his scholars.
“The EPIC Players are members of the Springfield Middle School and Innovation Academy Drama Club,” he said. “The club consists of about forty scholars in grades six through eight. As part of a STEAM Magnet program, the Arts is an integral part of the complete curriculum. Last year, scholars’ debut performance was Disney’s Mulan Jr.
