Senior Citizen Charged With Selling Meth In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Thursday, February 7th, around 8:30 pm, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 65-year-old Philip Anthony “Tony” Dorris and 27-year-old Shawn Bryant Drew, both of Springfield, on drug charges.

The arrests stem from a search warrant at a residence on Flewellyn Road in Springfield, TN. MAP Inside the residence, 5.6 ounces of suspected crystal methamphetamine, scales, baggies, and hypodermic needles were discovered.

Both Dorris and Drew have been charged with possession of schedule II drug (Meth) for resale (no bond), and possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,500
bond).

They are being held in the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield.
