Springfield Cinema Offers Haunted Tour With Ticket To “IT”

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Saturday evening Springfield Cinema offered a Haunted/Historical Theater Tour for anyone who bought a ticket for the 3-6 or 9-p.m. shows for the movie “IT.” Hundreds showed up for the scary tour and the movie, which sold out, it was a big hit.

Guests that attended the Saturday showtimes had the option to take a fun and mildly scary Haunted Theater Tour through the old and forgotten halls of the historic theater.

In groups of twenty at a time following the movie, guests took a fun tour through the old stairwell, hidden passageways, projector room and balcony.

It was a look deep into the theaters past and a rare look at parts of the old theater that have never been seen by the general public.

At the end of the fun tour, guests received a small piece of history to take home with them left over from the theater’s early days of operation. It was a piece of coal from the old furnace room left abandoned when the building was modernized. Guests also receive an information packet about the theaters history.

In addition, the “IT” Clown (who agreed to be completely friendly while in Springfield) was available in the theater lobby to pose for photographs with courageous guests.

The clowns that were seen throughout the haunted tour were the amazing work of Ricky Messina of Boo Factory Productions.
