Springfield Gas Station Robbed Again
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in solving an armed robbery.
Around 3am on November 23 a man brandishing a silver “chrome semi-automatic pistol” walked into Twice Daily located at 17 Memorial Blvd across from the Robertson County Fairground and demanded money.
The clerk complied with his demands and handed over $65 in cash. At one point the suspect tells the clerk to look under the cash drawer for more money. The suspect then fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a blue hoodie pull over, a silver bandanna covering his face, black tennis shoes and black pants and a gray shirt under the hoodie.
After the robbery the suspect fled South on Memorial behind the store towards the Greenway. MAP
Ironically it has been almost a year to the day that this same business was robbed at gunpoint. MORE
