Springfield Police Seek Suspect In Walgreens Grab And Dash

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are reaching out to the community for assistance identifying a grab dash suspect that got away with the cash drawer of a Springfield business.
Police say the incident occurred Friday night around 9:00 P.M. when a white male with short dark brown hair, dark blue or grayish short sleeve shirt, blue jean long pants, entered the Walgreens located at 2115 Memorial Blvd MAP and reached over the counter grabbing the cash register drawer.
After grabbing the cash drawer containing an undetermined amount of money, the suspect ran out the front door fleeing the scene on foot toward the back of the building in the direction of Firestone.

Suspect In Springfield Grab-n-Dash In Custody
The suspect wanted for the grab-n-dash of the cash register at the Springfield Walgreens last night is now in custody. A tip from a Smokey Barn reader was forwarded to Springfield Police who were able to make an identification of the suspect.
The suspect, identified as Chris Steven Fink II, 33, of Goodlettsville TN, was spotted at 11th and Main in Springfield by an alert off-duty officer and quickly taken into custody at noon today.
Fink has been charged for Theft-Under-$1000 and his bond has been set at $5000.
The Smokey Barn News reader that supplied the tip would like to remain anonymous but did forward the following note. “I’d like to just say thank you to Smokey barns for listening to me! And to the Springfield police department for doing their jobs and catching him quickly.”
