Taco and Salsa Robbed At Gunpoint In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Thursday evening around 9:00pm Springfield police officers were dispatched to Taco and Salsa located at 2008 Memorial Blvd in reference to a robbery.
The business owner reported to officers that a black male wearing a dark colored mask and dark clothing armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded money.
The suspect fled from the business after taking an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen running toward 16th Avenue East. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described to be a black male 6’0, thin build, and short twist in his hair, wearing a long sleeve black shirt, black pants, black or dark gray shoes, dark colored skull type mask and armed with a large square black semi-auto handgun.
Anyone with information regarding these cases is encouraged to contact Springfield Police at 615-384-8422 or Crime Stoppers at 615-382-3799. All information is anonymous and Crime stoppers will pay up to $5,000.00 for information that leads to an arrest.

I was stopped by police blue lights and all had my grandchildren with me it scared us. Offices came to car told us he was sorry he obviously pulled over wrong car he was searching for person that robbed this place and we were not who he was looking for. He stood there on his radio saying repeadly wrong suspect wrong suspect serch still on. Said to us sorry have to go.
I hope they cought correct person. My grandchildren were scard saying hurry get home and lock the doors. Way to much violence going on in Springfield
