Theft Suspects On The Run After Two Businesses Targeted

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield Police are asking for the community’s help with two unrelated crimes. On September 12th Springfield Police officers responded to Kroger in reference to purchases made with a stolen Credit/Debit Card. Investigators believe the card was taken by the same suspects responsible for a vehicle burglary earlier the same day at Springfield’s YMCA.

The unidentified suspects were viewed, via video surveillance; purchasing gift cards with the stolen credit card totaling $3,000. The suspects were seen driving a black 2019 Hyundai Sonata bearing Florida License Plate DFQF74.

Springfield Lowes Theft of Property (Shoplifting)

On September 7th around 2:49 PM, Springfield Police officers were dispatched to Lowes in reference to shoplifting.

The unidentified suspects were viewed, via video surveillance; filling their shopping cart with approximately $1,100 worth of merchandise, and leaving the store without purchasing those items.
