Trick Or Treat? Everything You Need To Know In RC..
First, Smokey checked in with Robertson County Mayor Howard Bradley, Greenbrier Mayor Billy Wilson, Springfield city manager Paul Nutting and White House Police Chief Pat Brady and the answer was the same, Halloween is Halloween, the date is NOT moving. It’s not likely that any other cities in RC will move Trick Or Treat but if you wanted to be real sure call your city official. The only time Halloween has been moved in the past was when it fell on Sunday..
WEATHER.. It looks like the weather is going to be pretty bad, they are calling for strong straight line winds and maybe even hail. Probably not a good night to have the children out.
There are MANY great solutions this year… Let me go over them..
Today – Octorber 29th. (***** 5 stars)
White House Parks and Recreation Trail of Treats at 6p.m.
This is a really great event on the greenway in White House with decorated tents and lots of fun for the kids: See event calender link below for more.
As I said above, White House is not moving Halloween, this is just a fun event they do and considering what the weather is predicted to be on the 31’st this is a fantastic solution..
Today – Octorber 29th . (**** 4.8 stars)
“Fall Festival & Red Ribbon Week” At Springfield High 5pm – 8pm, another great event with Games, trunk or treat, and Hayride. Put on by the RC Sheriff’s Office. As I said above, Springfield is not moving Halloween, this is just a fun event they do and considering what the weather is predicted to be on the 31’st this is a fantastic solution..
Today – Octorber 29th . (**** 4.7 stars)
Gorham Macbane Library in Springfield– Trick Or Treating & Games 5:30-7:00 p.m. Should also be a lot of Fun!
