Two suspects Flee after Colliding With a School Bus near East Robertson Elementary

A driver and passenger of a Sebring LX collided with an East Robertson Elementary school bus this afternoon around 2:45PM on East Robertson Rd near East Robertson Elementary in Cross Plains. (Exact location of wreck) As we understand it, there were no students on the bus only the driver and monitor were in route to pick up students.
East Robertson Rd. was closed in the vicinity of the accident for about an hour. The driver and front passenger of the Sebrng LX fled the scene and were seen heading into the woods. According to Cross Plains Police Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle and the occupants do have current outstanding warrants.
A female passenger in the back seat was was left behind by the two fleeing suspects and she was taken to the Hospital. A witness told Smokey that the Sebring LX was on loan to the driver. The driver of the white Chrysler 300 is uninjured.
According to the THP the woman’s injuries were not life threatening.
