WANTED: Suspect On The Run Near Millersville

STORY UPDATED – SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – on Thursday, (January 4th) Millersville Police were engaged in a foot pursuit of a suspect that was seen driving a stolen vehicle out of Gallatin. Officials tell Smokey Barn News that the pursuit started as a vehicle chase in Millersville when an officer saw the vehicle driving through a field and ran the plates.

The chase turned into a foot pursuit after the driver abandoned the stolen vehicle on I-65 near mile marker 98. SEARCH AREA

Anderson currently has felony warrants out of Nashville and Sumner County, police said.

UPDATE: Saturday, January 6.

According to officials in Millersville, Josh Anderson, and his female companion, Rebecca Thompson, were taken into custody early Saturday morning.

Police received a tip that the two might be staying at a home in the Poplar Subdivision. MAP Detectives went to the house and quickly took Thompson into custody. Anderson ran triggering a four-hour manhunt.

Ultimately Anderson was located and captured a short distance away hiding in the parking lot of Up Church Transmission. MAP

CHARGES:

Anderson was booked into the Sumner County Jail on the charges of Driving on a Revoked License, Evading Arrest, Failure to Maintain lane, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangerment with a $80,000 bond. Metro Nashville also has charges on Mr. Anderson.

Thompson is facing charges of evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
