FB_IMG_1472342122949UPDATE: Police have now taken an official missing persons report and have issued a (SILVER ALERT) for Delair.

Delair departed from Corbitt Lane in Springfield MAP and then was later seen near Memorial Blvd and 5th Ave on Saturday around 1100a.m.. MAP. According to her family, she left without her medicine or even her cell phone. The photo of her with the backpack was taken just as she left but due to children in the home at the time, she could not be followed. The family told Smokey Barn News that all she took with her was her purse and an extra pair of pants.

“Her medicine is important, she can’t last long without it,” her daughter Brandi Lyston said. “We would just like to know she’s OK.”

Her family said that as she left she made a comment about not wanting to be a burden anymore.

Springfield Police have been searching for several hours and will continue to investigate but with no cell phone or credit cards to acquire a location, the process will take time.

Delair has been entered into NCIC. Anyone with information concerning Delair’s location notify Det. Charles Consiglio at 615-384- 4911
