13.4 And Falling, Are You Ready?
The temperature is falling fast, Smokey’s high-tech temperature censor we acquired from CT&T Computer Service Center in Springfield is reading 13.4 degrees. In fact, the temperature has fallen a full degree as we prepared this article. With the windchill it means it will feel like 2 degrees out there.
Be sure to bring the pets indoors. It’s also a good idea to leave the water trickling in at least one faucet to help keep pipes from freezing.
It’s likely to go down to zero tonight and it will stay below freezing until Saturday. If you are not sure if your vehicle is ready for the cold weather a frozen radiator is not the best way to find out. Take your vehicle over to American Tire in Springfield. They will check out your vehicle and only sell you what you need.
Robertson County Schools are closed on Thursday but will be open on Friday. More on school closings.
The continued freezing temperatures has caused a tight power supply situation.
