Armed Robbery In Springfield: Police Need Your Help

Two men were robbed at gunpoint  by four men outside the Westgate Apartment complex in Springfield late Wednesday night. MAP The call came into 911 dispatch at 11:08PM.

According to Springfield Police Lt. William Watkins, one of the victims was hit in the head with a pistol as he tried to escape. He was bleeding and treated at the scene.

Police say the two victims were moving furniture at the time of the robbery. The four suspects approached the two men from opposite directions surrounding them police say, in what looks like a planned attack.

The suspects are described as four black males about six feet tall, slim with dark hoodies armed with semi-automatic pistols. The suspects demanded the phones, wallets and keys from the victims and fled on foot east towards Bransford Dr. MAP

    Very suprised there aren’t more comments about this story..let a few kids from white house get caught experimenting with drugs and the people come out of the woodwork to point’s an idea for the male majority of Springfield..Get a job,support & raise your kids..

      the issue is that we know springfield is flawed, but everytime something happen all we hear is how we so glad we don’t live in springfield. SO when something happened in perfect white house, cross plains, etc we comments to show no town is without it’s community problems.
