On hand to receive the books were: SHS Librarian Heather Chandler, Assistant Librarian Ruth Trotter, SHS Principal Teresa Leavitt, and Director of Schools Mike Davis.
While at the school, Black also spoke to teacher Patrick Carneal’s U.S. government class, where she briefly described her congressional duties and answered student questions.

Maybe representative black could donate more school buses! Second day in a row, third time this year that routes have been canceled due to lack of running buses! Kids have to wait at school until a bus gets it’s route ran then they come back to the school to get the other route. Snacks could at least be provided to those students who are left to wait. Smokey barn must investigate this ongoing issue!
