Connie Lee Biggs of Pleasant View Woman Dies From Wreck Injuries
Smokey is sad to report that Connie Lee Biggs of Pleasant View TN has died from injuries she sustained in an accident on Hwy 49 last Wednesday. Her 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup pulling a trailer veered off the road to the left and collided with a rock embankment.
Biggs was ejected from the vehicle and was in the ditch when first responders arrived. She passed away yesterday, (Friday July 25th around 12 noon) according to friends of the family. Connie held on for more than a week showing signs of improvement early on but her injuries were just to much for her.

According to the THP, around 1:pm Wednesday a 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup pulling a trailer traveling west on Hwy 49 veered off the road to the left and collided with a rock embankment. Connie Lee Biggs, 50, of Pleasant View TN was ejected from the vehicle and was in the ditch when first responders arrived, according to Assistant Emergency Management Agency Director Kenny Hardaway. According to the THP, Biggs was not wearing her seatbelt.
Biggs was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center via ground, according to Sgt. Bill Miller Tennessee Highway Patrol.
