Doc Mishler Travels Through Robertson County
On Wednesday afternoon Todd Lawrence Mishler ( or The “Doc” as his friends call him) passed through Robertson County on his way to raising awareness and funding for hungry children all over the world.
Mishler told Smokey that he has ridden his trusty steed over the Golden Gate Bridge, around the Temple at Salt Lake City and he’s even brought his message to the United States Congress.
The 78 year old said he’s survived quadruple by-pass and a complete hip replacement. He said he had recovered from a broken pelvis ignoring his friends that told him to give up his riding. “It’s up to God if I ride,” the Doc said.
The Doc continues to ride because 35,000 children around the world die of hunger or a hunger related illness every day. Below is a copy of a letter he hands out if you come up to say hi.
