Driver Misses Creek By Inches On Lahr Rd In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – It was a close call for a driver in Springfield as heavy rains made the roadways slick Monday afternoon.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation and they have not officially released a cause of the crash, however, as you can see, the vehicle crashed into a bridge leaving it precariously perched over a creek. The accident occurred around 6 pm on Lahr Rd late Monday afternoon, just after heavy rains past through the area. (Location of crash)

Officials are calling it a non-injury accident, so the driver was able to walk away from the crash with no more than a tale to tell.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Robertson County EMS and the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
