Driver Missing Following Kinneys Rd Rollover Crash Early Saturday

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Springfield commuters using Kinneys Rd should expect delays this morning while authorities remove a vehicle that impacted a guardrail and rolled down a steep embankment.

The crash occurred around 6 am on Kinneys Rd near George Justice Rd. just out of Springfield. MAP

When first responders with North Robertson Fire & Rescue arrived the driver and any occupants were nowhere to be found. A search of the wooded area adjacent to the crash also turned up nothing. A cause of the crash was not immediately understood.

Due to the nature of the crash and the position of the vehicle down the embankment, a  2008 Black Nissan SL 2, Deputy Director Chance Holmes with the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, says drivers should expect Kinneys Rd to be slow and intermittently closed while the crash is investigated and the vehicle is removed.

North Robertson Fire & Rescue, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, Robertson County EMS, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol all responded to the crash.
