Helicopter Lunch Break Triggers 911 Response
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Zaxby’s must have something special on the menu because they literally have customers flying in.
This afternoon two employees with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) decided it was time for lunch and spotted Zaxby’s from the air in Springfield. Parking was a bit of an issue because they were in a helicopter. Luckily there was a spot open in an adjacent field.
The landing triggered a call to 911 about a helicopter on the ground. That put police, fire, medical and the Emergency Management Agency in route.
It turned out that the only thing medical about it was the need for lunch. According to the Director of E.M.A. R.L. Douglas, no laws were broken but that didn’t stop onlookers from wondering what the heck was going on.
