On Friday, December 20, 2024, Greenbrier Police responded to an alleged domestic assault report in the area of Bailey Court and Franklin Drive in Greenbrier. Officers were informed that the suspect was allegedly leaving the scene in a vehicle, and a description of the vehicle was provided. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division located the suspect in a nearby parking lot and detained him. The suspect was identified as Ingland Quoc Tran. Officer Shane Meadows arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation into the alleged domestic assault.
During the encounter, detectives allegedly detected the odor of marijuana coming from Tran’s vehicle, prompting a probable cause search. The search reportedly uncovered a significant quantity of illicit narcotics, including:
- 230 Adderall pills
- 13 grams of orange powder (believed to be Adderall)
- 66 orange amphetamine pills
- 282 additional Adderall pills
- 974 Alprazolam pills
- Approximately 2 pounds of marijuana
- 198 Rolls Royce ecstasy pills
- 25 blue anonymous ecstasy pills
- 39 orange anonymous ecstasy pills
- 60 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms
A subsequent search of Tran’s residence, conducted under a warrant, allegedly led to the seizure of three firearms.
Tran was charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Two counts of Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Schedule I Narcotics (hallucinogenic mushrooms)
- Four counts of Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Schedule II Narcotics (Adderall and amphetamines)
- Five counts of Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Schedule VI Narcotics (marijuana)
- One count of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange of Marijuana
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Resell
- Domestic Assault
Tran was booked into the Robertson County Jail and is currently held without bond.
