Letter to the Editor – Response to COVID19 “ID 2020” & Bible Prophecy

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The following Letter To The Editor is in response to “COVID19, “ID 2020” & Bible Prophecy” authored by Ken Blinco. See Mr. Blinco’s full letter below.

Dear Editor,

After reading the above-mentioned opinion piece I had a response and different perspective to share:

Mr. Blinco said that after researching he came to two conclusions, there was a virus and that there was an agenda but he never made the case for the ‘agenda’. The “ID 2020” explanation is simply baseless and something for which there is zero evidence, no sources listed and no other information for which to back up the claim. Almost everyone already carries around this so called ‘identification’ he mentioned in the form of a cell-phone, why would the government have to invent a virus and try to force everyone to get a vaccine just to be able to track people? They could just use cell-phones, this is normally the problem with conspiracy thinking is that the proposed ‘conspiracy’ typically requires an unreasonable amount of effort and cooperation, but at the end of the day it is simply a baseless claim with no provided evidence.

He also stated that ‘Medical and political groups have already said that the only way we will be safe from the pandemic is to have everyone get a vaccine’. First, why would you take medical advice from any political group? Second, YES, this is how diseases, viruses, and the like are eradicated, vaccines are developed that help us to prevent from contracting them and their ailments. Know anyone who is currently suffering from smallpox or polio? This fear-mongering about vaccines is also baseless and he has provided no citations or evidence to back up the claim.

Then we move into the bible, which also doesn’t provide evidence of anything because it is itself the claim, not the evidence. The great tribulation period and “The Beast” could be interpreted as any number of things and usually is to fit whatever narrative is being spun at the time. How many times have we heard religious leaders say ‘The end of times is near’, July whatever day is the day Christ will return, etc. They’re just claims and just like the rest of this letter they don’t have any supporting evidence.

In closing I would like to add that Mr. Blinco made the statement ‘Don’t be deceived. Do your own research, but most importantly study the Bible.’ to which I would reply:

Yes do your own research but do it correctly and that will involve reading more than just the bible and taking the word of anyone writing an opinion piece for a local news source. Provide evidence, citations, consensus from experts in the field, quotes from living people, these will go farther to convincing people and would be more informative.

Thanks

Letter To The Editor – COVID19, “ID 2020” & Bible Prophecy

Dear Editor;

After researching this Covid19 pandemic from reliable alternative news sources, I came to the conclusion that there is a virus, and there is a virus agenda. They are not the same thing.

When you research this virus, and the people and groups involved with this, you come up with some interesting information. A couple things are the “ID 2020” and the 2030 Sustainable Development.

The “ID 2020” is a plan that uses a vaccination as a platform for a digital form of identification. Your digital ID would include everything about you, including health and vaccine records, assets, credit and debt, and could also track everyone in the world digitally – for our own “safety” and “protection,” so they say.

As the News media continues to put the world in “pandemic” panic mode, everyone will look to government for help. Medical and political groups have already said that the only way we will be safe from the pandemic is to have everyone get a vaccine.

The Bible in Revelation 13 talks about a great tribulation period. “The beast” or best known as the antichrist will emerge on the scene. He will have power “over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations and all them that dwell on the earth.” And that he would cause everyone to take a mark or a number that, without it, you cannot buy or sell. The antichrist’s agenda will be to deify Satan.

Don’t be deceived. Do your own research, but most importantly study the Bible.

While we are told we will not know the exact time, God obviously wanted us to know when that time was getting closer. It clearly appears that such a season may be well upon us. Prophecy is being fulfilled daily, and at a faster pace than ever before. Our world is being prepared for that final hour the Bible predicted 2,000 years ago.

For all who will listen, Jesus, God’s son, is the only way of salvation, escaping the wrath of God. And it is a great salvation we receive.

Followers of Christ look forward to the time when the Lord will restore the universe to a perfect state like the one it had before man sinned. He will also create a new heaven and new earth.
