Marines Land In Springfield In Day Of Training
SPRINGFIELD ROBERTSON TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) It was a site to see, a great big MV-22 Osprey Tiltrotor Aircraft landing at the Robertson County Airport. Actually, the helicopter/airplane landed many times in what was a day of training.
“It was the US Marines and we were happy to have them,” said Airport Manager and Wingnuts Aviation co-owner Chris Ferraraccio. “We coordinated it about a month ago. It was great having them here.”
Chris says don’t be alarmed if you see the big bird flying over your home this evening, it’s just a training exercise. Expect to see them over the next few weeks as training continues.
