Millersville Police Make Two Heroin Related Arrests Days Apart

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Saturday March 11th, Millersville Police Officers responded to the Ridgeview Shell gas station located at 7311 Bethel Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

During the officer’s investigation, it was discovered that Marshall Scruggs, 40, of Madison, was in possession of heroin.

Additional items used to package and weigh illegal narcotics were also located inside the vehicle, according to Millersville police. Mr. Scruggs was charged with possession of heroin with intent to resale. He was booked into the Robertson County Jail under a $70,000 bond.

Then on Wednesday March 15th, and less than 100 yards away, Millersville Police Officers obtained information that someone staying at the Owl’s Roost Campground located at 7267 Bethel Road was selling heroin out of their camper. (Distance map for both arrests)

Officers went to the Owls Roost Campground and made contact with Stacey Tanner, 42, also of Madison, a coincidence according to police.

Tanner admitted to selling heroin out of her camper and it was determined that she was conducting drug deals while her 10 year old and 12 year old children were inside the camper, according to police.

Tanner was charged with possession of heroin with intent to resale. She was booked into the Robertson County Jail on a $61,000 bond.
