Officials: “Driver Very Lucky” Following Rollover Crash Near Adams
ADAMS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A rollover crash near the top of the county sent the driver to the hospital Monday afternoon but according to officials at the scene, it could have been much worse.
The crash occurred around 4 pm Monday afternoon on Hwy 41 just outside Adams, not far from the county line. (Location of crash)
Officials say the pickup, traveling West on Hwy 41, crossed the center line, went off the road and flipped. When it was over the vehicle was upsidedown on the lip of Hwy 41.
Officials tell Smokey Barn News, that if the vehicle had collided with another vehicle traveling in the other direction it could have been much worse. The 25-year-old male driver from Adams Tennessee was transported to NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield but, according to Robertson County EMS, his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
As far as a cause of the crash, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
The Adams Fire Department, Robertson Cont EMS, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol all responded to the crash.
