The first one act “Christmas Gifts” written by Ruthanna Fletcher and is set during the American Civil War. It is a story of two Confederate soldiers —each carrying a heavy burden and their unexpected encounter with a freed slave on a cold Christmas evening.

The second one act, also a drama “Love Letters from War” written by Danny Atchley, is about a fictional newlywed couple from Springfield during World War II. The young wife Pat is holding down the home front while her husband Mike is on his way to the D-Day invasion and a date with destiny. “Love Letters from War” is filled with actual people, places and events from Springfield’s past.

The third one act is a children’s fantasy entitled “Santa and the Wicked Wazoo” under the direction of veteran RCP director Guy Stanley. “Santa and the Wicked Wazoo” is about a hot-tempered leprechaun who shows up at Santa’s Workshop. He’s taller than all other leprechauns, and he wants Santa to “shrink” him. But Santa has other things to worry about namely the Wicked Wazoo, a witch, who plans to turn the North Pole into a kingdom for the “Mean and the Nasty,” so no more Christmas!
