Pre-School & Kindergarten Registration For Robertson County Schools
ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Pre-K registration will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bransford, Coopertown, East Robertson, Krisle and Jo Byrns elementary schools. Pre-K students will be selected based on income eligibility requirements defined by the Tennessee Department of Education. If you are unable to register your child on this date, please contact the school office for other available dates and times.
Children must be 4 years old on or before August 15, 2014 to apply for enrollment in this program for the upcoming school year.- The Pre-K program will serve primarily those families who reside in the Bransford, Coopertown, East Robertson, Krisle, and Jo Byrns Elementary school zones and who qualify for the free or reduced lunch programs as regulated by state guidelines.
- Only a parent or legal guardian may register a child.
- It is not necessary for your child to be present for registration.
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:
1.) Child’s Birth Certificate
2.) Child’s Social Security Card
3.) Tennessee Department of Health CERTIFICATE OF IMMUNIZATION
(Form # PH-4103 – current health/shot record)
4.) Emergency contact information (names, addresses, and telephone numbers)
5.) Proofs of residence (2 or more of the following: current electric bill, water bill,
home or apartment lease/rental agreement, mortgage documents)
6.) Custody papers (if applicable)
7.) Parent’s Drivers License and/or Photo ID
8.) Income Verification: Income Tax form 1040 or 1040A, Social Security/SSI,
TN Care Verification, Veteran’s Benefit Letter, W-2 Form, Unemployment Compensation, Verification of pay by employer, ADFC/Public Assistance Payment, Child Support, Verification of Families First or Transitional Families First, Verification of family’s eligibility for Free/Reduced Lunch 2013-2014.
Kindergarten registration will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the following schools:
Bransford Elementary Jo Byrns Elementary
Coopertown Elementary Krisle Elementary
East Robertson Elementary Robert F. Woodall Elementary
Greenbrier Elementary Watauga Elementary
If you are unable to register your child on this date, please contact the school office for other available dates and times.
Children must be 5 years old on or before August 15 to enroll for the upcoming school year. (Exception: Children born August 16-31, 2009 may enroll in kindergarten if they participated in one of the following prekindergarten programs during 2013-2014: Voluntary Pre-K for Tennessee program, Head Start, or an accredited private school. Proof of participation is required.)- Only a parent or legal guardian may register a child.
