Rollover Crash Uncovers Second Mysterious Crash Site On Lahr Rd
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Officials in Springfield responded to a rollover crash on Lahr Rd Thursday around 1 pm. Shortly after they arrived, officials found themselves dealing with a second upside-down vehicle.
Both vehicles landed about 100 feet apart near a creek off Lahr Rd MAP down a steep embankment. The vehicles had to be hoisted up to the road with special equipment. Fortunately no injuries were reported in either crash, however, officials are not sure how long the second vehicle had been there. If not for the rollover today the second vehicle may not have been discovered until fall thinned out the foliage.
The location of both vehicles and terrain added a bit of complexity for officials who spent nearly five hours at the scene investigating both crashes and removing both vehicles. Lahr Rd was intermittently closed throughout the day.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, Robertson County EMS and the Pleasant View Fire Department all responded to the crash.
