SPRINGFIELD: Motorcyclist Injured In Hit & Run Crash

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A motorcyclist is on his way to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following what officials are calling a hit and run crash in Springfield.

The crash occurred on the intersection of Central Ave and Cheatham St just before 11 am. MAP

The roughly 35-year-old Cedar Hill man was taken to Skyline Medical with serious injuries but is likely to recover, officials said.

Reportedly, there was another vehicle involved that bystanders stated fled the scene. Springfield Police are investigating.

UPDATE: Springfield police are releasing a brief description of the vehicle and suspect. Police are looking for A pearl-colored 4 door Buick driven by a white male.
