Thieves Get Gun/Money From Unlocked Cars In Millersville

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –  Millersville Police are once again reminding the community to lock their vehicles after a string of vehicle burglaries and one car theft.

Between 10:00pm on February 18 and 7:00 am on February 19, eight unlocked vehicles were burglarized in the Cimmaron Trace Subdivision off of Williamson Road in Millersville, TN.

The suspect(s) stole a Glock 23 handgun, over $1,300 in cash, designer handbags, power tools, and prescription medication.

Millersville Police say there have been other vehicle burglaries in recent weeks. Back on January 15th at the Ridge at Greenhaven Apartments located on Lewis Dr. three (Unlocked) vehicles were burglarized.

On February  2, at the Greenhaven Apartments. – an (Unlocked) vehicle was burglarized. Thieves got away with three watches valued at $1,200.00, credit cards as well as personal identification documents.

On February 4, again at Greenhaven Apartments an unlocked vehicle (with keys left in ignition) was stolen. The vehicle has  found abandoned on Interstate 65 the next day.

On February 5th a home on (again) Williamson Rd. was burglarized. Thieves escaped with a handgun. Millersville Detectives told Smokey Barn News that the nature of the crime led them to believe this burglary was connected to the vehicle burglaries.
