ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, temperatures across the county could drop as low as 21 degrees overnight.
Residents are urged to take necessary precautions to protect themselves, their families, and their property:
- Pets: Ensure all pets have adequate shelter or bring them indoors.
- Pipes: Protect exposed pipes to prevent freezing and bursting.
- Plants: Cover or bring sensitive plants indoors to protect them from frost damage.
- People: Check on neighbors, especially the elderly or those without reliable heat sources.
- RACE CARS: If your car is outdoors and you’re not running antifreeze you may want to place a heating element or an incandescent light under the engine.
