White House man dies after head-on crash in Whites Creek
WHITE HOUSE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News), A White House man died after a head-on crash around 1 p.m. Saturday in the Whites Creek area of Nashville, WKRN News 2 reports. LOCATION OF CRASH
Metro Nashville Police told News 2, a Nissan Titan, driven by a 65-year-old Joelton man, was traveling south on Clarksville Pike when it allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic to pass a vehicle turning right onto Bobel Lane. The truck collided head-on with a Jeep Renegade driven by 44-year-old Jonathan McLeod. McLeod did not survive.
Officials said McLeod died at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. The Nissan driver was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
No additional information was released as the investigation continues.
