Smokey Barn News, September 12, 2013 White House TN

A motorcyclist left the roadway and impacted a utility pole near 3449 Calista Rd in White House around 11:00 PM Wednesday evening and was severely injured. We learned this morning that the rider Jerry (Tommy) Coble II 22 of Cottontown did not survive. What we understand is a T.H.P. officer was the first to arrive at the scene. The T.H.P. officer began C.P.R. on Mr. Coble until medics could arrive. Coble was then taken to NorthCrest Medical in Springfield.
The accident occurred in a bend in the road on the outside of the turn. According to the T.H.P’s report, Coble was traveling north on Calista Rd while maneuvering a right curve at a hill-crest when he laid the bike down. The bike slid off the roadway and impacted the utility pole.
Smokey would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Coble. iPhone/iPad users click on photo(S) to play video http://youtu.be/tDvPQuHYo4U

Seth you are an idiot
I’m so deeply sorry for your loss! I lost my husband 4 weeks tomorrow also to a motorcycle crash. As a fellow motorcycle rider myself, it’s a thrill that can’t be explained. Please listen to the song “when God has another plan”. Again, I’m truly sorry!!
Smokey I love your reporting but until the name of the injured is released, you should be very careful about posting closeup pics of the cycle…. including the license plate number.
