Georgia To Chicago In A Wheelchair

With A Message For Robertson County

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – In 1992 Vincent Robinson was shot with a Streetsweeper in Georgia. When he woke up in the hospital months later he had already healed but his legs were gone.

Robinson blames a culture of violence and hate for what happened to him, now he has a message for America. “Stop the violence.” Robinson is taking his message on a 700 mile trek from Georgia to Chicago in a wheelchair, today marks the 18th day of his journey.  Robinson says he makes about 20 miles a day in his wheelchair, with his uncle Freddy Handspike in tow.

Robinson shared his story with Smokey Barn News as he made his way through Robertson County Sunday afternoon.
