2 Injured In Sleepy Hollow Head-On Crash In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Two people were transported to area hospitals following a serious head-on crash near downtown Springfield Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on South Main St near Sleepy Hollow Dr, the first call coming into 911 at 12:42 pm. LOCATION OF CRASH
According to Robertson County EMS, though the vehicles sustained heavy damage and will likely be totaled, no one in the crash was critically injured. The drivers, both females, ages 19 and 20, were transported from the scene (non-emergency) to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Robertson County EMS, the Springfield Fire Department, and Springfield Police all responded to the scene.
N. Main St was closed for about an hour while Springfield Police investigated the crash and the scene was cleared. The cause of the crash was not available.
