3 More Key Leadership Appointments Announced For Robertson Co. Schools 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County School District has announced three new key leadership appointments for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Chad Murphy will be serving as Assistant Principal at White House Heritage Elementary School this year.

Dr. Murphy is originally from Kentucky and is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. He began his teaching career in 2014 and has been at Beech High School in Sumner County for the majority of the past 10 years. While at Beech High School, he held many roles in addition to his position as an English Teacher, including serving as the Newspaper Advisor, cheerleading coach and head of the English Department. Dr. Murphy was named the Sumner County District High School Teacher of the Year in 2022.

In 2015, Dr. Murphy received his Master of Arts in Education from Union University and in 2022, Dr. Murphy received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University.

We are pleased to announce that Ken Neitz will be serving as Assistant Principal at Coopertown Middle School.

Ken Neitz earned his Bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and his Master’s from Lincoln Memorial University. Ken brings 32 years of education experience, 28 years as a high school math teacher in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee and four years as a middle school assistant principal in North Carolina. In his 32 years, Ken has coached baseball, volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and softball.

Neitz believes all students can learn and building quality relationships will build quality schools.

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Connor will be serving as Assistant Principal of Greenbrier Elementary School.

Ms. Connor, originally from White House, TN, graduated from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide) with a dual major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2000. She began her teaching career in Shelby County schools where she taught Kindergarten for four years before moving back to Robertson County to teach at Krisle Elementary in 2005. She has taught first grade and pre-k for the past 19 years. She received her Master’s in Instructional Leadership from Welch College in 2023. She is very excited to join the Greenbrier Elementary School team and looks forward to helping students Grow in ability, Excel in knowledge, and Succeed in Life.
