60 Years Strong: Goodpasture Christian School Opens Enrollment for 2025-2026

MADISON TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – This year Goodpasture Christian School (GCS) is entering its 60th year of operation. In the 1965 inaugural year, enrollment consisted of 149 first through sixth graders. Fast forward to today, GCS has its largest enrollment in over 20 years, with 1,032 students. The student body ranges in age from 12 months old in our Great Beginnings program, to 12th grade seniors.

According to Dr. Jeff Bixenman, President, “We aim to provide every student with an educational experience that develops the whole person through college preparatory curriculum, the arts, athletics, and service to others.” Throughout the years, GCS faculty, staff, and coaches have taught and led by example in a Christ-centered environment, be it a classroom, on stage, in an athletic arena, or through community service.

Conveniently located off I-65 in Madson, Tennessee, GCS serves families in northern Davidson County and surrounding communities. Bus routes are available to Springfield, Greenbrier, and White House in Robertson County.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 school year.

A Preview Day is set for Sunday, January 26. Click here to register if you plan to attend! Interested families unable to attend may contact our Admissions Office to schedule a campus tour. Email [email protected] if you need additional information.
