UPDATE: 4:30 pm Saturday, July 6. Gene’s vehicle has been located near a wooded area in Ashland City. Gene was not in the vehicle which means he is likely on foot. Police have started searching the area and K9 search and rescue dogs have been called in to assist.

UPDATE: 11:45 pm Friday Gene has not been located. Smokey Barn News spoke to the family this evening, they are very concerned. The family tells us that Gene did like to drive and may have taken a scenic cruise towards Kentucky or just around his home of Hwy 31W in White House. Gene has not bought gas and has had no other electronic activity. The family also said that Gene wasn’t one to carry cash and he would not likely be the type to hide. Gene did not bring his cell phone with him when he left.

The family is currently searching everyplace they can think of to find Gene and they are very grateful to everyone that has reached out with assistance.
