Oakland Baptist Announces Easter Celebration and Gospel Concert

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Oakland Baptist Church in Springfield is gearing up for two major events this April, bringing music, worship, and community together in a season of faith-filled gatherings. From an Easter celebration featuring a moving choir performance to a live gospel concert with a nationally recognized quartet, these upcoming events are expected to draw a strong turnout.
Easter Sunday Celebration – April 20 at 10:30 AM
On Sunday, April 20, Oakland Baptist Church will host a musical celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The service will feature the Oakland Choir performing Amazing Grace: My Chains Are Gone. Following the service, attendees are invited to stay for a free Easter lunch, open to everyone.

LeFevre Quartet Gospel Concert – April 27 at 6:00 PM
The following weekend, on Sunday, April 27, at 6:00 PM, the church will welcome the LeFevre Quartet from Gadsden, Alabama, for an evening of gospel music. Known for their powerful harmonies, the group is expected to draw gospel music fans from across the region. Admission is free, and a love offering will be received.
