Memorial Services Announced for Two Springfield Crash Victims
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) -In the wake of last week’s fatal crash involving two young men from Springfield, their families are now facing the practical realities that come with such a loss.
Last week, a multi-vehicle crash on Whites Creek Pike claimed the lives of Andy Hernandez and Jonathan Palafox. According to authorities, their vehicle collided with oncoming traffic after failing to navigate a curve near Sycamore Creek Road. Despite emergency response efforts, both young men succumbed to their injuries. The accident has deeply impacted the Springfield community, prompting an outpouring of support for their families. MORE
The families of Andy Hernandez and Jonathan have announced funeral arrangements and expressed their deep gratitude for the overwhelming community support. To date, almost $30,000 has been donated through a GoFundMe set up for the family to cover funeral expenses. Donations have poured in, and the family has shared with Smokey Mountain News that the generosity of friends and neighbors will likely cover the funeral expenses for both young men.
