Touch-A-Truck: Orlinda Invites Families to Explore Emergency Vehicles April 26

ORLINDA TENNESSEE – The City of Orlinda Fire Department is inviting the public to a Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Orlinda City Hall/Park, located at 7501 Highway 52, Orlinda, TN. DIRECTIONS

The event will feature a wide variety of emergency vehicles, equipment, and personnel from agencies across Robertson County and beyond. It’s a great opportunity for families to get a closer look at the tools used to serve and protect the community — and to meet the people behind them.

Participating agencies include:

  • Orlinda Fire Department

  • Robertson County EMA

  • Robertson County EMS

  • Robertson County Sheriff’s Office

  • Tennessee State Forestry

  • Tennessee Highway Patrol

  • PHI Medical Helicopter

  • Air Evac Helicopter

  • Koorsen Fire & Security (fire extinguisher simulator)

  • OES Hazmat Team

  • Smith Towing & Recovery

  • Bubba’s Smokin’ Pig BBQ

  • Bruster’s Ice Cream

  • Plus a few surprise guests

The event will also include a bike giveaway, bounce house, and fun handouts for kids.

According to the Orlinda Fire Department, the goal of the event is to give the community a chance to learn more about the department and other local agencies, pick up some helpful safety tips, and have fun while doing it.
