Early Morning Rollover (I-65 South At The 107 – Union Road) Expect Delays
WHITE HOUSE, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – If you are on I-65 South passing through the White House area, keep an eye out for First Responders at the scene of a rollover crash at mile marker 107 near Union Road. The vehicle is on its side. Expect delays. The crash is positioned about one mile south of the White House exit.
The vehicle reportedly rolled under the bridge at Union Rd.
The first call came in to 911 at 2:48 a.m. Early reports indicate entrapment. Crews are responding.. Use caution in the area and watch for personnel on foot and apparatus along the shoulder. Updates to follow as more information becomes available.
UPDATE: According to Robertson County EMS Director Brent Dyer, the driver, a woman in her sixties, was trapped upside down inside the vehicle and was in and out of consciousness when crews arrived. She sustained serious injuries, including a possible head injury, and was transported by ground to Skyline Medical Center. Two dogs, believed to be service dogs, were also in the vehicle. One dog briefly escaped onto the interstate but was safely recovered. Both appeared unharmed and were secured by Animal Control, assisted by EMA. The interstate was shut down for nearly an hour while crews worked the crash scene.
