
Driver Transported After Dump Truck Rollover in White House, TN
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A dump truck rollover crash sent one person to an area hospital with minor injuries Thursday morning. The crash left one lane blocked while crews worked the scene, according to White House Fire Department Assistant Chief Cary Petitt, the first call coming into 911 around 8:20 AM.
“The White House (city) Fire Department responded to a rollover wreck involving a dump truck,” Assistant Chief Cary Petitt said. “On arrival, the dump truck was found off the roadway on its side. The driver, who sustained minor injuries, was ambulatory but needed assistance out of the truck.” Petitt added, “Using a pair of ladders, the driver was assisted from the truck with help from firefighters.”
White House Ladder 2, Engine 1, and 701 responded. The driver was transported by Robertson County EMS to Hendersonville Hospital for evaluation. Damage to the dump truck was substantial. Some fluids leaked into the ground, and the HAZMAT company Ozone responded for cleanup. One lane on Meadows Rd was blocked during the incident.
A cause of the crash was not immediately available.
