ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – The Robertson County Sports Alliance (RCSA) has quickly become one of the fastest-growing youth sports programs in our area. What began as a vision to create a high-quality, affordable, and inclusive league for local families has developed into a recognized NFL Flag League serving hundreds of athletes across multiple age divisions.
RCSA is a local nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth through sports, mentorship, and community engagement. Our mission goes beyond the field — we focus on leadership, teamwork, confidence-building, and creating a positive environment for every child who participates.
Our 2026 leadership team includes:
President and League Operator: Pierre Alexander
Athletic Director: Carrie Beiderman
NFL Flag Commissioner: David Walker
Co-Commissioners: Justin James and Erik Hyde
Field & Game Day Operations: Chris Woods

Together, this team strives to elevate the league’s organization, structure, and game-day experience. From improved scheduling and officiating to enhanced player development and smoother operations, the growth has been intentional and community-driven.

Participation numbers have steadily increased season after season. We now serve multiple age divisions from U6 through U14, with boys and girls competing in a fun, fast-paced, non-contact environment. All games are played locally at the Bransford Community Center, giving families a true hometown league experience.

As an official NFL Flag League, players receive NFL-branded jerseys and flag belts, and coaches have access to NFL-approved resources to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience.
Beyond flag football, RCSA continues expanding youth opportunities in Robertson County, including additional sports programming, camps, and community initiatives designed to keep kids active and engaged year-round.
Beyond athletics, RCSA is deeply committed to serving the community off the field as well. Each year, we host a Thanksgiving turkey drive to support local families, lead Christmas initiatives that provide gifts and resources to children in need, and organize a community candlelight vigil to bring people together in moments of reflection and unity. Our mission has always been bigger than sports — we believe in showing up for Robertson County year-round, not just on game days.
