Motorcyclist Injured in Springfield Crash

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – A motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle Saturday afternoon in Springfield, sending one rider to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and Moreland Drive, directly in front of Whataburger, the first call coming into 911 just after 5:00 p.m. MAP

According to Robertson County EMS, one individual, believed to be a passenger on the motorcycle, was transported to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield with minor injuries. The crash was described as a low-speed collision at a red light.

Springfield Police are investigating the incident. The roadway was temporarily blocked while authorities worked the scene. Reportedly, the pasenger vehicle was stopped at the intersection at the time of the collision.
