Donald Gene Dickens, age 93, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Gallatin, TN. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Dickens, parents, Herman and Annie Ruth Dickens, brothers, Herman and Kenneth Dickens.

Survived by sons, Gary (Lori) Dickens, Cary (Shearon) Dickens, Phillip (Peggy) Dickens, Tracy (Sherri) Dickens, grandchildren, Charles R. Starks, Annie R. (Jimmy) Eidson, Jared (Meredith) Dickens, Justin (Kimberly) Dickens, Allison Dickens, Hanna Gene Dickens, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2026 starting at 9:30 AM until the Funeral Service 11:30 AM all held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. A Graveside Service will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.

Michael Leslie Williams, Sr.
April 19, 1954 – May 9, 2026

Michael “Mike” Leslie Williams Sr., 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Born in Goodlettsville on April 19, 1954, Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn Williams; his mother, Annie Lee Williams; his father, Eugene Howell Williams Sr.; and his brother, Eugene Howell Williams Jr.

Mike was a devoted father to his children, Crystal and Michael, and a loving husband to Marilyn, whom he cherished deeply. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially cheering them on at sporting events and being present for every important moment in their lives.

Known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, Mike was happiest when he was fixing things around the house, lending a hand to family and friends, or tending to the garden flowers he lovingly cared for in memory of Marilyn. He lived a life centered on family, hard work, and putting others before himself, and he will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and steady presence.

He is survived by his children, Crystal Frederick, Michael Williams Jr. and his wife Marcie; and his cherished grandchildren, Christian Frederick and his wife Desiray, Johnathan Frederick, Mikayla Frederick, Easton Williams, and Landon Williams.

A visitation for Mike will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Beech Grove Cemetery.

Terry Mark Baldwin
June 9, 1961 ~ May 7, 2026
64 Years Old

Terry Mark Baldwin, 64, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday May 7, 2026, at his home. His wishes were to be cremated and the family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Grace Freewill Baptist Church 4273 Keith Rd. in Springfield.

Terry was born June 9, 1961, in Springfield, to the late Oather Stewart and Nona Spain Baldwin. He was a heavy equipment operator and was of the Christian faith. Terry enjoyed anything that let him be outside, especially raising his cows. His greatest pastime was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Terry had a huge heart and was happy to help anyone at any time. If anything was needed, he was the one you could count on and know it would be taken care of. He was a loyal protector of his children, his family, and those that he loved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Oather Wayne Baldwin. Terry is survived by his children: Carol Baldwin Beech (Nathan) of Hendersonville and Chris Baldwin of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Austin and Collin Beech, by his brother: Steven Baldwin (Winona) of Franklin, KY, by his sisters: Lyndell Baldwin Clark of Cedar Hill and Cheryll Baldwin Doss (Jeff) of Springfield, and by the mother of his children: Pat Baldwin of Cross Plains.

Services have been entrusted to the Robertson County Funeral Home.

Mildred (Sneed) Baggett
September 17, 1923 ~ May 12, 2026
102 Years Old

Mildred Sneed Baggett, age 102 of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery with Jackie Baggett, Jason Baggett, Jimbo Baggett, Mac Baggett, Jr., Robert Henry Baggett, Ron Smiley, and Robert Wayne Watkins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 until 7 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service.

Mrs. Mildred was born September 17, 1923 in Cedar Hill to the late Robert and Katie Porter Sneed. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church and before that was a longtime member of Cedar Hill Methodist Church. She was a longtime member of the Cedar Hill Home Demonstration Club and loved to play cards, dance, fish, travel, quilt, and do every kind of hand work. She made many meals for her family, hog killings, tobacco cutting, and other farm activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 ½ years, Eugene Baggett; sons, Robert Henry “Bob” Baggett and Jackie Sneed “Jack” Baggett; and brothers, John Boyd “Dick” Sneed, James Robert “Bub” Sneed, and Robert Phillip “Tib” Sneed.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Jean) Baggett of Adams and Mac (Evelyn) Baggett of Cedar Hill; daughters, Laverda (Leland) Smiley of Greenbrier and Sally (Wayne) Watkins of Montgomery, AL; 16 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Ferland for many years of kindness and care for Mrs. Mildred and the staff at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, especially Pam Baker and Janice Garrison, that took such good care of her for the last 3 years and 10 months.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.

Leon Knight
July 25, 1950 – May 16, 2026

Leon KnightIsaac “Leon” Knight, age 75 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Thursday, May 21st, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Joe Bogle officiating.

Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with Jason Binkley, Michael Binkley, Ronnie Knight, Terry Chowning, and Gary Chowning serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Thursday beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.

Mr. Knight was born on July 25, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Ike & Hazel Anderson Knight. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Leon loved his yard work and planting flowers but his greatest love was music. He played the guitar and was in several country bands and played at the Bell Witch Opry often. He loved his family and was a Christian.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Danny Knight and a sister, Sandra Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie Knight; step-son, Jason (Amy) Binkley; daughter, Vickie Trahan; and son, Quintin Knight.

Katherine Reynolds CalvertKatherine Reynolds Calvert, age 97, of Springfield, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Monday, May 18th, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield, with Pastor Dakota Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Daniel Calvert, Jacob Calvert, James Calvert Moore, Thomas Calvert-Rosenberger, Benjamin Calvert-Rosenberger and Samuel Lowe serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11am until time of the service, at 1pm Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Calvert was born November 22, 1928, in Springfield, to the late George Riley Reynolds and Virgie Bell Perry Reynolds. She graduated from Springfield High School and attended Nashville School of Business. Prior to her marriage, she worked at her family’s grocery, located in Eastland Heights in Springfield. Mrs. Calvert was active in the Christian Women’s Fellowship and Youngville Home Demonstration Club. She was a volunteer at COPE, when it was initially formed in Springfield. Mrs. Calvert was a faithful member of Central Christian Church where she was Elder Emerita. She was also a member of 5th Avenue Uniting Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Calvert was preceded in death by her son, James Mark Calvert.

She is survived by her husband of 75 years, James Ross “Jimmy” Calvert; daughters, Lee Anne Morton and her husband Scott, and Susan Calvert-Rosenberger and her husband Mark; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Janie Calvert; and 2 very special caregivers, Maureen Radcliff and Leah Green.

Ms. Lawson was born December 27, 1949, in Springfield, to the late Bedford and Connie Roach. She was a Security Guard at the Rivergate Mall for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Traci Raymer and Becky Raymer; 4 grandchildren, Abbi Rippy, Courtney Wilson, Caleb Alley and Melly Wilson; several great grandchildren; brothers, David (Vicki) Roach and Dennis (Sarita) Roach; and a sister, Penny (Pete) Gantt.

William Thomas EstesWilliam Thomas Estes “Bill” age 85 of Springfield passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center. He was born uly 7, 1940 in Miami, F to Marvin Buford & Mildred Irene Cheek Estes. He worked as a manager for Walgreens until his retirement. Bill enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, playing golf and fishing.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Estes; sister, Suzie Kellar; niece, Jenifer Glover. He is survived by his sister, Sandy (Phil) Westmoreland; brother-in-law, Alan Kellar, White House, TN; several nieces and nephews.

There are no services or visitation planned.
