Man Airlifted After Motorcycle Accident in Adams
ADAMS, TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – For those who messaged asking why a medical helicopter landed in Adams Friday evening, it was in response to a motorcycle accident that left a man injured.
According to Adams Fire Chief Donovan Tucker, the incident happened at a residence in the 1800 block of Hooper Hollow Road. The man was trying to start a motorcycle for his grandson when it threw him off balance. He fell and struck his head on the concrete, the first call coming into 911 at 6:55 pm. Reportedly, the man may have lost consciousness and injured his collarbone.
Adams Fire Department and Robertson County EMS Medic 6 responded to the scene. Because of the nature of his injuries, an AirEvac medical helicopter was called to transport him for further treatment.
No additional information on the man’s condition was immediately available.
